Oklahoma declares Sovereignty

Oklahoma gave the big finger to the Feds and raised the old "Don't Tread on Me" flag.

Resolution 1098 has passed ( 92 Yeas, 3 Nea, 6 Excused) declaring the Feds need to adhere to the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States which reads as follows:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the
Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to
the States respectively, or to the people."

Here's to hoping that more states take the initiative to tell those Feds to shove it!

In Oklahoma: its not what you know, its what you pray to.

Oklahoma House of Reps have passed a bill "House Bill 2211" and sent it to the Oklahoma Senate. This bill will allow a student to pass science classes just by scribbling "GOD did it" on his test. This bill is another attempt by creationists to destroy any semblance of reason from our education system.

Taylor needs to shut up!

Unless something drastic happens this will be my last post about Jerry Taylor of Tuttle, OK.
Not only is Tuttle's Jerry Taylor a giant a$$hole but a ignorant a$$hole, obivously a Republican. He said and I quote,
Taylor said that he didn’t understand why so many people were concerned about an e-mail exchange between two people.

“This is just a bunch of freaks out there that don’t have anything better to do,” he said. “When I came in to work Monday morning, I had about 500 e-mails, plus anonymous phone calls from all the geeks out there. [CentOS is] a free operating system that this guy gives away, which tells you how much time he’s got on his hands.”
It appears that Tuttle City calls threatening an innocent developer with FBI a "misunderstanding".

There has been some local media coverage on this fiasco. see below.

*sigh* I know "wide" is misspelled as "wibe" in the graphic.
